beautiful but impractical Nov 16, 2008
I love how this watch looks! I was eyeing it for quite some time before I got it, and the picture doesn't do it justice. I have worn it every day for almost a year, and the glass isn't scratched at all (my job does not involve sitting at a desk, so it certainly would be excusable if it were scratched). I had a Seiko watch before, which is much more expensive, and it scratched within days of getting it.
However. I have always loved the more unique, squared or rectangular faces on watches. I had only owned squared or round before this one. Be aware, an elongated watch face without any numbers is a tough adjustment! I felt ridiculous whenever people asked me what time it was and I had to squint at the watch for a while to figure out if it was 1:15 or 2:15! I still have trouble, and would never get a rectangular watch again, but the quality and aesthetics of the watch are so wonderful that I keep on squinting at the time.
