I, too, am bewildered by the first review. So surprised, in fact, that I wonder if the reviewer is talking about another watch. This is a very fine quality timepiece - far better even than it looks in the photograph. Good design, quality materials, and at a price much better than I have seen it offered on other discount websites. If you don't need a watch yourself, buy this for someone else - they'll be thrilled!

Genuine Swiss Quality, that you won't find in Walmart Nov 09, 2005
This watch is true quality, and is surely not like any Japanese movement watch, of the kind that Walmart sell,

Very disappointed, Walmart watches for $6.95 look better and will probably function just as well. The Walmart watch I have has been wearing for over a year is working just fine..I wanted somthing a little nicer and impressive this was not the one.
