Got it as a gift for my wife - she loves it. Real easy to put on and take off with the nice easy-to-use and adjustable clasp system, but very secure. Very thin and light, wouldn't feel like it's even on. Overall, another nice product from Skagen.

Excellent, elegant watch for a great price. Feb 19, 2008
This is a very nice item. The watch itself is quite thin, which I like a lot. The face appears to be a dark mother of pearl. It's very subtle and nice, as are the crystals around the outside edge. The black steel mesh appears to be anodized, so I think it will be durable. The other thing I like is that it's water resistant. A lot of fashion watches aren't, and will get wrecked in a year or so if splashed with water regularly.
It was easy to adjust the band, and the instructions are good. The clasp has an extra "flap" for security which is great. I have fairly thin wrists and had no problem getting it to the right size, but I can see that it might be harder to get the right size if your wrists are extremely thin. I got it down to 6.5" with no problem.
I particularly dislike big watches. If they're too big, I just don't put them on in the morning. While the face is not small, it's thin enough and elegant enough that I'm very happy with it. It is equally nice for dress and for business wear. Also, as a previous reviewer said, it's pretty easy to read even though the face is dark.
This watch is a great bargain -- you get a heck of a lot of watch for (currently) $56.

The watch arrived quickly, and was exactly what we were looking for and for a terrific price. We were dissapointed when we could not adjust the watch band to fit tight enough, and had to send it back. If you order this watch and have thin wrists, you might need to be prepared for it to be too big.

Wow...in a matter of a week the price has dropped $10. So I have had this for 1 week and love it. It is a great watch! I hardly know it is there it is so very light. Not being able to wear leather bands due to allergies, the adjustability of the steel mesh is a real plus. Absolutely no need to go to a jeweler. I was also tired of trying to read dots for the hours on my old watch. This watch has numbers, big numbers! For a little feminine kicker, what looks like rivets around the face are actually crystals. This is a great value!
